- THIS ACTION IS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to procure Fall Prevention Kits to be added to the Instrument Landing System (ILS) Glide Slope (GS) Towers procured as part of the MARK 20A ILS System as stated in the attached Request for Offer (RFO). The kits must meet Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) requirements. Also, the kits must enable safe and convenient access to GS towers for Technicians to perform maintenance. There are two to three antennas per tower and there is one glide scope tower per ILS site. There may be several ILSs (glide slope towers) per airport depending upon the number of runways with the ILS approach. The FAA contemplates one firm-fixed price contract award.
