Description

(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. If there is an after hour point of contact, please include in quote. (II) Solicitation FA4877-06-T-0002 is being issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers, oral offers will not be accepted. (III) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-07 and DFARS Change Notice 2005-0001. (IV) All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. North American Industrial Classification Standard 238210, The Small Business Size Standard is $13,000,000. The project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. (V) Service Item Description: Davis-Monthan AFB requests for services; non-personal: To provide all labor, parts, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to professionally install 160 each GFI receptacles and replace 160 each existing bath light fixtures. Lodging will furnish only light fixtures. Contractor will flex down from existing fixture box and install a new GFI receptacle at sink. Contractor will provide new feed from light switch for the new GFI receptacle. The contractor will complete a total of 160 rooms located in building 2350 and 2550. Six rooms are permitted to work per day. (VI) Work shall commence ten days after receiving notice to proceed. (VII) FOB: Destination for delivery to The Inn at Davis-Monthan AFB Bldgs 2350 and 2550. Tucson, AZ 85707 (VIII) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. (IX) FAR 13.106, Evaluation- Commercial Item Applies. Quotes will be evaluated on best value to the government. (X) The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. (XI) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XIII) Specifically, the following clauses cited are applicable to this solicitation; FAR 52.222-6 Davis-Bacon Act; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Handicapped Workers; FAR 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era.
