Description
The work consists of the removal of approximately 1,600,000 cubic yards of maintenance Pipeline dredging in Channel to Victoria and Channel to seadrift, in Calhoun County, Texas, to repair drop-outlet structures; no levee work required. The estimated completion time for Schedule No. 1 is 1 October 2006 and Options Nos.1 and 2 within 140 calendar days. Approximately 330,000 cubic yards of dredge material per month. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 19 June 2006. The estimated cost range for this project is from $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System NAICS Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $18.5 million and will be advertised, UNRESTRICTED. Plans and specifications will not be available in paper format or on compact disc. For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions FedTeDS system. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders must register with FedTeDS before accessing the system.
