Description: Currently CYTYC SURGICAL PRODUCTS is the only manufacturer of an FDA approved Novasure System used for treat the entire inside of the uterus (endometrial cavity) at once. Using the Novasure System does not require any incisions, and does not require hospitalization. Also, the Novasure System is the most rapid of all endometrial ablation techniques. FDA studies show that it has a high success rate and low complication rate.
