- Block 17/Description-Synopsis Text: This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to procure on a sole source basis with M/A COM, Inc., 1011 Pawtucket Boulevard, Lowell, MA 01853 a quality of 25 High Efficiency Square Programmable Telemetry Transmitters Model 500mW 2254.5Hz PN MA06836-054. The basis of the sole source is existing equipment compatibility. The transmitters being procured are required to meet the same technical requirements, and have the same form, fit, and function as those already integrated into existing systems. M/A COM, Inc. is the only viable source to provide the required telemetry transmitters, as they are the only current manufacturer of the Model 500mW 2254.5Hz PN MA06836-054. NAICS code is 334419.
