- The conference for the Industry Day has been changed to DSCP Building 3D Conference Room 7316, at the Defense Supply Center, 700 Robbins Ave, Philadelphia, from 0900-1600 (Eastern Standard Time). THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP), 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA intends to hold a Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) INDUSTRY DAY conference. The goal of the conference will be to gather potential industry feedback in regards to the Commercial Fire & Emergency Services Prime Vendor and to provide information to industry regarding the F&ES Prime Vendor customer requirements. The F&ES PV program provides all types of fire and emergency services equipment including but not limited to: fire fighting, safety, rescue, environmental, HAZMAT, domestic preparedness, fire responder, search and rescue, and other emergency response equipment, related incidental services and training to DSCP?s military installations, other Federal Agencies and Departments, and approved federally funded customers located throughout the world. The primary concept of this Fire & Emergency Prime Vendor contract is to support America?s emergency response community by providing all equipment, training, and related incidental services necessary to perform their missions. DSCP will discuss the strategy of the F&ES Prime Vendor, the issues regarding state and local governments, small business participation, and opportunity to compete in the program. Contract type, quantities of items, contract duration will not be discussed during the F&ES Industry Day Conference. This information will be set forth within a Request for Proposal. The conference is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 7 June 2006 at the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Building 3D, conference room 7316, 700 Robbins Ave., Philadelphia, PA from 0900-1600 (Eastern Standard Time).
