Description

The McAlester Army Ammunition Plant intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for 16 each, Hoist, as follows: Eight (8) each hoist, 550 LB capacity, spark resistant, 15 feet lift, 11 ft pendant length, with spark resistant components, ARO model 771 2EL-SP or equal, four (4) each hoist, 1,500 LB capacity, spark resistant, 15 feet lift, 11 ft pendant length, with spark resistant components, ARO model 7796AL-SP or equal, and four (4) each hoist, 2400 LB capacity, spark resistant, 15 feet lift, 11 ft pen dant length, with spark resistant components, ARO model 7798AL-SP or equal. If quoting or equal, provide descriptive literature of what you are quoting as equal. FOB is destination. Estimated issue date of solicitation is June 12, 2006. The proposed award is unrestricted, therefore, responses to the RFQ will be accepted from any interested vendor. RFQ will be issued electronically in accordance with far 4.502 and 5.102. Therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may down load it ON OR AFTER THE STATED ISSUE DATE by accessing this notice at this website or by accessing it at the Army Acquisition Business Web Site, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the solicitation via this website in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt may render quote nonresponsive and resul t in the rejection of same.
