- An organized site visit has been scheduled for-- Wednesday 14 June 2006, 1:00 PM (EDT) Participants will meet outside of Hangar 34024 [Enter gate 12A, retrieve pass and id information from visitors center, then proceed to hangar. Further directions available upon request] Offerors planning to attend shall submit the names and social security numbers of all attendees (not to exceed 2) to Lt. Mark Mizzell at (937) 522-4559 or Larry Hill at (937) 522-4612 (or through email) no later than 8 June 2006. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base and adequate space for all site visit attendees. This is an UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. Full and Open Competition. The contractor must be registered in the CCR prior to award of contract. Registration may be completed via the DUNNS+CCR website: http://www.ccr.gov/. NAICS: 236220, SIZE STANDARD $28M. Repair Building Exterior, Facility 34024. Project scope includes removing existing EFFS and replacing EFFS with Factory Insulated Metal Panels, including associated architectural, civil structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and miscellaneous work as shown on the project drawings as described un the specifications. The site of the work is Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. A Request for Proposal including Performance/Price Tradeoff criteria is anticipated to be used. Estimated cost of proposed acquisition is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 NOTES: 1. The solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be available on the WWW on or about 19 May 2006. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be provided; however, you may download and print the file from the World Wide Web (www) at: http://fedbizopps.gov/ 2. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. It will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 3. You shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 at the time and place specified in the solicitation for bid opening. Bids will not be publicly opened. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be marked to show the bidder's name and address, the solicitation number, and the date and time proposals are due. 4. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors.
