Description

PROJECT: ADD TO/REPAIR CLINIC, BUILDING 802 This project consists of construction of an approximately 13,000 square foot addition to building #802, clinic and making repairs to the existing structure. The addition will include a facility to house mental health counseling, drug testing administration and specimen collection, nutritional counseling office, pharmacy and equipment calibration room and laboratory. Repairs to the existing building includes an upgrade to the heating system, replacement of the air conditioning system, carpet replacement and repairs to the restrooms. Addition and repairs being bid separately but one contract will be awarded. Work to be performed at the 914th Airlift Wing, Niagara Falls ARS, Niagara County, NY. Performance time: 180 calendar days total for both projects. Tentative issue date is on or about 21 June 2006 with RFP closing date approximately 30 days thereafter. The NAICS Code is 236210, the SIC Code is 1541, and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. A single firm fixed-price construction contract will be awarded. This solicitation is a HUBZone, small business set-aside. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. All offerors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration for award. Bid, Payment & Performance Bonds will be required. NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after RFP closing, with no obligation to the offeror by the government.
