Description

ANALYZER TUBE: The solicitation number is FA8601-06-T-0097. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(b) (1) (ii). The proposed source is Yokogawa Corp of America, Blairsville, PA. The government anticipates a sole source award to Yokogawa Corp of America to purchase an Optical Spectrum Analyzer Tube, Model AQ631B, quantity one (1) each. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within ten (10) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
