- Description
- The Corps of Engineers has a need for a contract for Johnstown, PA Local Flood Protection Project, Unit 4. The work consists of maintenance concrete repairs to the existing concrete lined flood protection project in Unit 4 which is on the Little Con emaugh River in Johnstown. The base contract will consist of concrete spall repairs to the slope lining. Repairs to the toe of the slope lining will be included as three awardable options. The period of performance for the base will be 275 calendar days. Magnitude of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This procurement will be total set aside for Hub Zone contractors. The Invitation For Bid (IFB) will be issued approximately June 28, 2006 on-line only through FedTeDS; therefore, requests for hardcopies of the specifications and drawings will not be honored. Requests must be made by registering for this solicitation through FedTeDS at http://www.fedteds.gov. Once registered, vendors, plan rooms and printing companies will be able to download the solicitation and drawings on or after the above issuance date.
