Description

The National Park Service, Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park, located in Johnson City, Texas, is seeking a contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to replace two air cooled split system heat pumps and modifying duct and electrical connections to accommodate the change out. Additionally the work includes adding ventilation air ducts. The solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of the Interior's (DOI) National Business Center (NBC) website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Interested contractors desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the website. Contractors wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. Subscribers to this service are ultimately responsible for reviewing the website for all information relevant to this solicitation. Plan holders will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the procurement documents. No other notifications will be sent. This procurement is 100% set-a-side for Small Business. The National Park Service welcomes the participation of Women and Minority Firms. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will state Site Visit date and time. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Part 36.0, the estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS code for this project is 238220 with a small business size standard of $13.0 million. Award selection will be based on the overall best value to the government after considering price and factors other than price.
