Description
THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE RELEASED VIA THE INTERNET. This will be the only method for distributing solicitation documents and amendments. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING AND DOWNLOADING AT THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil The official planholders list will be maintained and can be printed on the website only. Amendments will be posted to the website for viewing and downloading. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO PERIODICALLY CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR AMENDMENTS. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS AND PLAN ROOMS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER ON THE WEBSITE. All contractual and technical questions shall be submitted to Carrie Grimard via facsimile at 812-854-3800 or e-mail at carrie.grimard@navy.mil Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. RENT DOZER FOR DEMO PONDS AT THE NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY (NSA), CRANE, INDIANA Provide one 121 horsepower dozer with an 11 foot blade, weighs approx 30,000 pounds, and has low ground pressure tracks (wide tracks). Equipment will be used no more than 50 hours per week for a period of 4 weeks beginning July 3, 2006. Contractor shall deliver the equipment to NSA prior to July 3, 2006 and shall pick-up equipment at the end of the rental term, August 1, 2006. Contractor shall perform all necessary PMI and repairs resulting from equipment malfunctions. Government will provide fuel. Government will be responsible for damage caused by Government personnel. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following technical factors will be used to evaluate the offers: past performance and equipment description. These technical factors when combined are equal in value to the price. Offerors are required to submit both price and technical information. NAICS Code is 532412 ? Construction, Mining, and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing with a size standard of $6.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement. Solicitation documents will only be available electronically at the following website: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Release date is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, June 8, 2006 with quotes due no earlier than 10 days after the actual release date.
