Description

VAMC-Iowa City Health Care System is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Architecture/Engineering services to "Conduct Fire Safety Evaluation Survey (FSES)" at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Iowa City. NAICS Code 541310, size standard $4.5 million. A CERTIFIED/LICENSED ENGINEER IS REQUIRED. Contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to ?Conduct FSES Study?, as described in the Qualifications and Scope of Services. The main purpose of this contract is to survey Building 1 at The Iowa City Veterans Affairs Medical Center to determine NFPA 101 Life Safety Code deficiencies and perform any Fire Safety Evaluation System (FSES) evaluations as needed in accordance with NFPA 101A Guide on Alternative Approaches to Life Safety. The contract will include building survey, documentation and the production of drawings, CD and a reproducible vellum set of drawings. This procurement is unrestricted. Estimated cost range is $25,000 to $100,000. For consideration please submit your qualifications and past performance on SF 330 (architecture-engineer qualifications); and for any consultants, to be used, on SF 330 sections E and F.
