Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-Q-0274 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-07. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 19.502 (a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334290 and the small business size standard 750 Employees. (v) Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is seeking a one-time service for a public address system for buildings 253 and 254. This project consists of designing a public address sytem capable of being accessed and utilized by all telephones in the facility, installation, and providing a comprehensive training for the new system. All work shall be in conformance with the requirements of the contract including furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management and other services (including engineering/technical design support), items and incidentals necessary thereto. (vi) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (vii) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (vii) 52.237-1, Site Visit applies. Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. THERE WILL BE A SITE VISIT PERFORMED ON, 14 JUNE 2006, 0900 hours.
