Description
The Special Communications Requirements Division of of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, MD has a requirement for the procurement of 3 each HVA2.5G3A12 Air Conditioning Units. The government intends to procure the HVA2.5G3A12 Air Conditioning Units on a sole source basis from United CoolAir Corporation, 491 E. Princess Street, York, PA 17403. Only United CoolAir is uniquely qualified to provide the required air conditioning units. The HVA2.5G3A12 Air Conditioning Units will be housed in specially designed collapsible and transportable shelters that must maintain equipment operability with outside temperatures up to 131 degrees. This air-conditioning unit is consistent with already deployed units and is the only type that meets the following stringent form, fit and function requirements: units must fit side-by-side in a 77? wide space and be less than 78? tall to allow for compact transportability when the shelters are collapsed. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333415 with a size standard of 750 people. Award is expected to be 20, June 2006. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, responsible interested parties may submit information in which they can identify interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all responses received by 3:30 PM EST on 16 June 2005. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
