Description

This synopsis provides notice of the Government?s intent to solicit a proposal on a sole source basis with Pole Zero Corporation, 5530 Union Centre Drive, West Chester, OH 45069, for the items listed below. The contract type is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ commercial type contract with a Base year and two 12 month options. The Contract Line Item Numbers and descriptions are: CLIN 0001 P/N 179000 Co-Site UHF SATCOM Receive Filter (152 each); CLIN 0002 P/N 151400 ARC-210 Interface Adapter Module (152 each); CLIN 0003 P/N 175000 Co-Site UHF SATCOM Transmit Filter (152 each); CLIN 0004 P/N Co-Site UHF Line of Sight Transmitter/Receive Filter (39 each); CLIN 0005 Two (2) Year Extended Warranties (343 each). This equipment is required to fulfill the functional requirement of an in-band radio operation; providing harmonic and spurious suppression to allow simultaneous operation of co-located ARC-210 (domestic variant) radio. They must be designed for continuous operation in a tactical environment, be housed in a rugged transit case, be capable of operation in vehicles and shelters and support the HAVEQUICK II mode capability. Pole Zero is the only known source capable of satisfying the Government?s minimum requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible interested parties may submit a proposal in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 23 June 2006, 1530 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
