Description

The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSYCEN), San Diego intends to increase the scope of work under this contract to adapt sensors developed during this contract for rapid use with canines. This contract was awarded to Lucent Technologies, a large business, 67 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981-0903 on a competitive basis to provide for search capability in various environments. Authority for Other- Than-Full and Open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated period of performance will be approximately nine months; with a total estimated value of $743,290.
