- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required items under RFQ: JFK06Q00021. A written solicitation document will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-09. This is a all-or-none requirement. Partial quotes will be deemed unresponsive and will not be evaluated. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible offer or. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts intends to award one purchase order for the following Contract Line Item Number (CLIN): CLIN0001: Control Electronic Module (CEM) CEM+ Rack Upgrade Kit for SR-48 Dimmer Racks, PN: 7150K1004, Mfr: ETC, 28 EA; CLIN0002: CEM+ Sensor Control Electronic Module, PN: 7150A1001, Mfr: ETC, 33 EA; CLIN0003: Field Service Technician for Upgrades. (Field Service to include: The services of factory, and or factory certified engineer to provide upgrade labor, provide required control terminations, provide CEM+ Configurations, energize system, and instruction for personnel. Because of the significance of the existing systems and CEM configurations, all configurations must be documented prior to any work on-site may begin. Due to the schedules in the theaters, the dimming systems will need to be kept in operational order with only minimal down time for reprogramming), 1 Lot; CLIN0004: CEM+ Module Power-Up Oven, PN: 1100A1028, Mfr: ETC, 5 EA; CLIN0005: Obsession II Processor Upgrade from 1500 DPS to 4600 DPS for each processor (Upgrade to include the services of factory, and or factory certified engineer to provide upgrade labor, provide required burn-in and testing, energize system, and instruction for personnel. Bidder shall maintain a service center local to The Kennedy Center and have a loaner Obsession 4600 DPS in its inventory for same day service responses.
