Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to solicit only one source, Americas Generators, Inc. for a requirement of JRS gooseneck trailers with two built in diesel generators, having automatic transfer switch and 200 gal each fuel tank, Quanity 4, under the authority of 10 U.S. (c) (1). Market research has demonstrated that for this specific requirement only Americas Generators, Inc. meet the agency?s needs for the gooseneck trailers with two built in diesel generators. The Firm Fixed Price procurement is conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotes. However, vendors have fifteen days to present their qualifications and capabilities. Qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government.
