Description

Work consists of roadside tree clearing, excavation, removal of cut asphalt, placement of aggregate, hot asphalt deep patch repairs to existing paved surfacing, widening of existing surfacing with hot mix asphalt, asphalt overlay, placement of riprap, construction of 47 feet of concrete roadway, construction of treated timber loading ramp with concrete surface, installation of 6 inch access culverts, construction of precast concrete block crib retaining walls, construction of fence, removable and reinstallation of fences, slip-formed concrete curbing, and pavement marking. This project is located on the Hebo Ranger District, Siuslaw National Forest, Tillamook County, Oregon. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Proposals are due by close of business on July 26, 2006. The successful offeror shall be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) prior to start of work. Contract time is 50 calendar days. Estimated start work date is September 11, 2006. This solicitation is a Total Hubzone set-aside. The solicitation packet will be posted to FedBizOpps on or about June 26, 2006.
