Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. Fan Vaneaxial, NSN 4140-01-112-8519, P/N 12308376, consists of an envelope drawing 6.5 inch by 5.37 inch diameter with plus and minus terminals. Includes (5) .405/.460 diameter holes on flange. Requirements are solicited as a 3-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract for use on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System. Proposed contract is a firm-fixed price, 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated maximum ordering quantity over the life of the contrac t is 900 each. A First Article Test (FAT) is required. The Government may consider waiving FAT for those contractors that have previously produced this item. FOB DESTINATION. ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE IS 26 JUN 2006. This solicitation will be issued electr onically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/Solinfo/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It i s therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any said amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
