Description
The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Pearl Harbor is looking for potential sources to enter into multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) for a wide variety of controlled industrial material fasteners and fasteners manufactured to military specifications in support of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY) and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (IMF). This is not a solicitation. This sources sought announcement is restricted to small businesses. The fasteners required include those in the following Federal Supply Classes (FSC?s): 5305 Screws, 5306 Bolts, 5307 Studs, 5310 Nuts and Washers, 5315 Nails, Machine Keys and Pins, 5320 Rivets, 5325 Fastening Devices, 5365 Rings. The fasteners required may range from those requiring stringent quality and certification requirements or military specifications. Additional quality and certification requirements are necessary for materials commonly referred to as Controlled Industrial Material (CIM). Terms and conditions that may be invoked for CIM items are provided in Appendix A and Appendix B. CIM represents less than 40% of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard requirements and the remaining are common commercial fasteners. Based on historical demand, the Government may place 4,000 orders for approximately 90,000 individual fasteners with a total dollar value of $1,200,000 per year. The NAICS code is 421710 and the Small Business Standard is 500. The intended period of performance is 5 years. Interested firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and complete all representations and certifications as required by the Online Certifications and Representations (ORCA) @ http://orca.bpn.gov The Government requests that interested firms submit their company's most recent references. References should be a Contracting Officer, Program Manager or equivalent. Please provide as a minimum the following information: procurement vehicle/contract number; type (i.e. IDTC, BPA, etc); period of performance; prime or sub; description of products; original procure ment vehicle dollar value; sales-to-date in dollars. Interested firms should demonstrate the capability to respond to requests for quote within two days and meet urgent required delivery dates. The past performance shall demonstrate the capability to provide fasteners falling under the above Federal Supply Classes. The interested firms must also demonstrate the ability to supply fasteners with the stringent quality and certification requirements described in Appendix A and Appendix B and/or military specifications.
