- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Geauga County Sheriff's Office, 13281 Ravenna Road, P.O. Box 224, Chardon, OH 44024, to provide fraud investigation services for the Office of the Inspector General, Cooperative Disability Investigations (CDI) Unit in Cleveland,OH. The contractor shall provide the necessary personnel, materials, services, equipment, and perform all tasks necessary for or incidental to providing the required services to investigate fraud against SSA's Title II and Title XVI disability programs and other Federal and State programs, including Title XIX, for SSA in Cleveland, OH. The contractor provided personnel must have law enforcement (arrest) authority, as defined by the statutes and regulations of the State of Ohio. Interested and qualified parties that feel they can provide these services may respond by submitting their capability statement by email to Reggie.Poskocimas@ssa.gov no later than 3:00 pm CDT on June 21, 2006. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by the cutoff date, SSA will proceed with sole source negotiations with the Geauga County Sheriff's Office. All inquiries regarding this requirement must be made by email to the Contracting Officer at the email address listed above. No telephone calls or inquiries will be accepted. The Government will not pay for any offer or information received in response to this notice.
