- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. W912BU-06-T-0060 for the procurement and delivery of Rip Rap and Crusher Run Quarry Stone. The Contractor shall provide all plant, la bor, material and equipment and perform all work and tests necessary to furnish 3,000 tons of Type A Rip Rap Quarry Stone and 12,000 tons of Crusher Run Quarry Stone to various sites along the C&D Canal from Reedy Point, DE to Grove Neck, MD. The Rip Rap Quarry Stone shall be delivered at a minimum rate of 200 tons per day. The Crusher Run Quarry Stone shall be an on call delivery schedule and shall be placed on the roads with the Chain Dump Spreading Method, unless otherwise directed by the COR or dumped to stockpile material. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and awarded under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. RFQ No. W912BU-06-T-0060 will be available on or about 15 June 2006. S olicitation documents, plans, and specifications will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDs) system webpage at https://www.fedteds.gov. Interested parties must register as a Vendor with FedTeDs before accessing the system. In order to register as a Vendor in FedTeDs, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system (http://www.ccr.gov). Interested offerors can access the data for this solicitation through the hyperlink established in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) system (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) announcement, which will redirect to the solicitation-specific data in FedTeDs. Registration for updates to plans and specifications should be made on the FedBizOpps webpage for this solicitation. The FedTeDs system does not allow for offerors to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can be performed through the FedBizOpps system. Offers will be due on 26 June 2006 at 1:45 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and can be faxed t o 215-656-6798, ATTN: Jenifer M. Bordelon. Offerors are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. Hard copies will not be available. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 212313 with a size standard of 5 00 employees. No other notification to firms for this project will be made. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register (CCR) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
