Description

THE IS A PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUCEMENT; # W912P7-06-B-0005. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR THE SOLICITATION ISSUING APPROXIMATLY 24 JULY 2006 UNDER THE SAME SOLICITATION NUMBER. Project Title & Location: Moss Landing Harbor (O&M FY06) Dredging, Monterey CA; The proposed work consists of performing maintenance dredging of Moss Landing Harbor, California and removing approximately 46,800 cys of shoaled material to provide an authori zed depth of  15 feet MLLW. One-foot of allowable paid over-depth is permissible, with an additional non-paid, tolerance over-depth of 1-foot acceptable. Disposal will be within the historical government provided facilities: Dredged material from STA. 0+0 0 to 0+32 will be utilized for beneficial beach rehabilitation. Dredge material from Sta. 0+32 to 51+92 will be deposited in the aquatic site SF-12. Contract duration is 45 calendar days. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS CODE: This pro curement will be conducted under NAICS Code 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $18.5 Million. Estimated cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The recommended goals for subcontracting are: Small Business: 51.2%, Small Disadvantaged Business: 8.8%, Women-Owned Small Business: 7.3%, HUBZone Small Business: 3.1%, and Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business: 1.5%. The acquisition method is Invitation for Bids (IFB). The solicitation will be available for download approximately Augus t 2, 2006. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedTeDS.
