Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for construction of the addition and renovations to the office building and visitor center at Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge in Decatur, AL. Work under this invitation consists of providing all labor, equipment and materials to perform all operations required to complete the work in conformance with the drawings and specifications. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $31.0 Million. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 06/30/06, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB Number 401816B021. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments.
