Mesa Verde National Park is seeking a proposal to construct a boundary fence, needed to exclude livestock from the park. This is not a straightforward fence; it requires a swinging panel, which crosses a river, and is to be installed in very rugged terrain. The Request for Quote will be issued the week of June 19, 2006, and will contain a full Scope of Work (SOW) and map. This will be a firm-fixed priced contract and award will be based on submission of both a technical and a price proposal. Estimated price range, $10,000 to $25,000. Product Service Code 5660; North American Industrial Classification Code 238990. This is a Small Business Set-Aside. Interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractors Registry (CCR), www.ccr.gov. Electronic quotes are preferable but faxed quotes will be accepted.
