Description

Red River Army Depot intends to issue a solicitation which will result in a requirement type contract for Housing/Lodging facilities in the York, PA area for RRAD employees. All housing units will be within a twenty (20) mile radius of the BAE work s ite. Split awards will likely result from this solicitaiton, 1 award for CLIN 0001 Housing and 1 award for CLIN 0002, Weekly Cleaning service. Award will be made to the overall lowest bidder offering Best Value to the government. Contract period will be a total of 18 months after contract award. Contractor shall provide all housing facilities necessary to provide lodging and limited housekeeping services for Red River Army Depot (RRAD) TDY civilian personnel performing work at York, PA, as specified in SOW. This requirement is for lease of apartments for the base period beginning July 2006 through December 2007 timeframe, or date of award. The Government will make the necessary determinations of assignment to one (1) and two (2) bedroom apartments, based upo n gender and rank. Government reserves the rights to substitute/interchange tenants anytime during the contract lease agreement. The completed solicitation, W911RQ-06-T-0174 will be issued on or about 19 June 2006.
