- THE ISSUANCE DATE OF THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO JULY 19, 2006. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) intends to acquire approximately: CLIN 0001: Lindgren multifunnel traps with wet cup option, QTY: 1,000 EA and CLIN 0002 Sirex Lure 70: 30 blend of Alpha pinene; Beta pinen lure with a 75% (+) enantiomer, packed for ultral high release, QTY: 10,500 EA for base year. A bid sample of 1 Lindgren multifunnel trap each and three Sirex lures WILL BE REQUIRED AND SHALL BE DELIVERED TO USDA, APHIS, PPQ, CPHST, BLDG 1398, OTIS ANGB, MA, UPON THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION AND SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS. It is anticipated that upon contract award, the bid samples and the deliverables are of the same quality and produced from the same production facility. This is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), min/max quantities, Firm Fixed Price, Delivery Order Contract with a base award period of one calendar year and 3-4 year option periods which will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that a single award will be made but multiple awards may be considered. This solicitation utilizes full and open competition. No small business set-asides apply. The NAIC is 325414, Size: 500 employees. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this website only: www.fedbizopps.gov. NOTIFICATION WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFERORS REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE OFFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEBSITE PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES.
