- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide Janitorial/Custodial Services at the Stewart Air Traffic Control Tower, Newburg, New York. The period of performance is estimated to begin on/or about August 1, 2006, with four (4) one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide at their expense all labor, equipment, supplies, etc., necessary to perform specified custodial services. The Screening Information Request (SIR)/Solicitation will be a total set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720. All companies submitting a bid on this job must have an office within a 100 mile radius of Stewart ATCT, and must, for at least the previous year prior to submission of this Bid, have continously engaged in day-to-day business, which business has been staffed and continously and openly maintained. All companies submitting a Bid must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base or must be before award. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with the SIR. Evaluation Criteria include Past Performance, Financial Capability, Insuarability. The Government will make a single award to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be technically acceptable and the lowest price offer received. The solicitation package will be available on 6/13/2006. The package is being sent to the following two companies: LCS Facilities Maintenance Inc., 381 Main St., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 and Reliable Cleaning Services, 1 Hawkins Drive, Montgomery, NY. All others who meet the above requirements may fax there request to Ms. Catherine De Toma, Fax No. (718) 995-5685, on the letter head of the office in the 100 mile radius. All other requests will not be accepted.
