- Solicitation for the possible standardization of Syringe Pumps for TRICARE Northwest Region. This includes, but is not limited to, a complete product line of syringe pumps. Those companies interested in a possible Regional Incentive Agreement (dis counted DAPA pricing based on volume) with TRICARE Northwest Region must respond to the following questions: Clinical Criteria: 1. What is the lowest volume (in ml per hour,) that your companys syringe pumps can be programmed to deliver? 2. What is the volumetric range (in ml per hour) that your companys syringe pumps can deliver? 3. Discuss the delivery time range and incremental capability (i.e., ug/kg/min, mg/hr etc) of your syringe pumps 4. What modes (i.e., primary infusion vs piggyback infusion) can your syringe pumps deliver? 5. What is the degree of accuracy of your companys syringe pumps? 6. Does you company manufacture or distribute consumable supplies used with your syringe pumps? 7. What pressure monitoring features does your companys pumps offer? 8. Can your companys syringe pumps infuse products other than medications/IV fluids? (i.e., blood and blood products?) 9. List the size and weight of your syringe pumps. If more than one model is available, list them all. 10. List the companys syringes that your syringe pump can accept. 11. What type and size of display do your syringe pumps feature? Discuss the various message displays. 12. Discuss the medication safety features of your companys syringe pump. 13. What type of reports, if any, (for documentation/process improvement) can your syringe pumps provide? 14. Please identify and discuss, as appropriate, the standards and certifications your pumps meet? Technical Criteria 1. Does your company manufacture or distribute syringe pumps? 2. What brands of syringe pumps does your company manufacture and/or distribute? 3. Can your syringe pumps be used with any manufacturers tubing/extension sets? 4. What type of power do your pumps require (AC vs Battery vs capability for both)? 5. Does your company have a 1-800 # for customer questions and product representatives for each account? 6. Discuss value added services, if any, that your company provides (i.e., clinical education, on-site training, report capabilities etc). 7. Does your company have a distribution agreement with Cardinal Healthcare? 8. Does your company currently possess, or is it in the process of obtaining, a Distribution and Pricing Agreement? 9. Is your company large enough to satisfy product needs for entire TRICARE Northwest (Washington and Alaska) 10. What type of acquisition programs does your company offer (e.g., purchase, lease, etc)? 11. Please discuss your companys return goods policy. 12. Has your company had any recalls and/or back orders of product 13.
