Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQ-41302-020-6 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 05-09. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424320, and the small business size standard is 100 employees. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Federal Correctional Institution located at 2300 County Road 29, Sandstone, MN 55072, is requesting quotes for Winter Jackets and Spring Jackets. SCHEDULE OF ITEMS: Specifications for Winter Jackets: Shell shall consist of 8 ounce 65% Polyester/35% Combed Cotton Twill, spruce green color, equal to Graniteville 20/20 twin industrial laundry finish fabric. Lining shall be 10 ounce 100% Polyester quilted to 70 Denier Nylon Taffeta, black in color. Jacket shall be 34 inches in length, have concealed Nylon Rib knit cuffs, have a storm fly with concealed snaps that cover a size 10 Metal Separator which will not rust. There shall be two slash pockets and a permanent hood with the same quilt lining as the shell. Winter Jackets are to be first quality. Item 001: Winter Jacket, size ?Large?, Quantity 30.
