Description

This acquisition includes the purchase of a code and part number item where Royal Plastic (16357) and Flexfab (16632) are approved sources, and/or has supplied the item in the past. The intent is to award an indefinite delivery type contract for a one year base and four option years. Solicitation and NSN will be available for download on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. For questions on the content of the solicitation contact the primary point of contact. NSN: 4720-01-113-6432 All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Notes 12 & 26. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of June 30, 2006. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. The proposed procurement includes a family group of items with the Federal Supply Class 4720. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with one approved source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: (16357) Royal Plastic & (16632) Flexfab. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
