- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, items being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The office of NOAA National Weather Service Pacific Tsunami Warning Center located in Honolulu, HI intends to purchase following: 1.)quantity of 5 each Direct Way DW7000 Modem 1.2 meter Dish with Mounting Hardware, feed assembly with 2-watt Transmitter; 2.) quantity 5 each Direct Way DW7000 1.8 meter Dish with Mounting Hardware, feed assembly with 2-watt transmitter 3.) 12 months of service for quantity of 10 units. This purchase is part of ongoing efforts for the seismic network in the Pacific. They are found to be the only unit with correct angle look and bandwidth to meet Pacific Tsunami Warning Center?s communication requirements. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Only firms that can provide the exact Hughes Net Dish System and monthly service described herein will be considered. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication. All responses must be in writing and may be faxed to (206) 526-6025 attention to Maria Mendoza. This is a simplified acquisition with the estimated value of less than $50,000.00.
