Description

The James A. Haley Veterans Hospital intends to issue a sole source Request For Proposal to AGFA Corporation to furnish all labor, transportation, travel, parts, materials, tools, equipment, shipping, software in order to provide full and complete service/ maintenance/ preventive maintenance and repair of all equipment included in the government owned AGFA Picture Archival Communication System (PACS) and Computed Radiography (CR) located at the James A. Haley Veterans Hospital, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612 and VA Outpatient Clinics at Pasco, Brevard and Orlando North American Industry Classification System Code 811219. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however; any AGFA certified and authorized contractor that believes it can meet the solicitation requirements may give written notification to Sandra T. Jackson, Contracting Officer, FAX (813) 903-4838., by 6/19/06 and must show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet these requirements. Interested parties must submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing and MUST be authorized by the AGFA Corporation to perform maintenance services on AGFA PACS systems and equipment. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communication will not be accepted. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source negotiation with AGFA Corporation. RFP 673-83-06.
