Description

This is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. The NAICS code is 811219 with a SBA size standard of $6.5 Million. Interested parties need to identify if they fall into one of the Small Business categories: Small Business, Hub Zone Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, or Small Disadvantaged Business. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) is seeking sources for an anticipated requirement for the teardown, analysis, and repair of two Airborne System Controller (ASC) units. The ASC units were manufactured by Sanmina-SCI Company, P/N 53180000-001. The units are part of the Common Airborne Instrumentation System (CAIS) used to collect required bus-data for aircraft. Potential respondents must show that they have the capability to tear-down, evaluate, and repair these units. Responses shall be limited to 15 pages and should include, as a minimum, (1) evidence of past experience; (2) related projects and/or repair of similar systems, etc; and (3) business size as described above. This synopsis is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bid or proposals. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. All respondents are reminded of the required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) requirement to be considered eligible for any potential Department of Defense contracts.
