Description: This synopsis modification is issued to extend the response date of this combined synopsis/solicitation to Jun 23, 2006, 1:00 pm local time. Also, the Component Performance Standards are revised by adding the following: The x-ray source shall be a hi gh output linear accelerator capable of providing adequate flux to produce detailed images through the equivalent radiographic density of 54 inches of solid propellant. The Government requires detailed images at a quality level of 1-2T or better as defined by ASTM E1742. Physical size of the system should be limited to approximately 25 by 30 feet. The Government will provide electrical power supply.
