- The United States Army Communications-Electronic Life Cycle Management Command (C-E LCMC) intends to award a contract on a non-competitive basis for twenty (20) Satellite Modems, Part Number SDM 300A-726, NSN 5895-01-463-9474. The anticipated award will be made under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, to Comtech/EF Data Corp, Tempe, AZ. Comtech/EF Data Corp. is the sole manufacturer that possesses the data for manufacturing this item. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 12.603 and FAR 5.207 as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This announcement constitutes the o nly solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is Request for Proposal (RFP), W15P7T-06-R-J413. The proposed acquisition is to be a Firm Fixed Price, Contract. The response date for this solicitation is to be determined . We will give all interested parties in this solicitation at least five (5) days prior notice to the opening date to submit their proposals. The shipments are to be FOB Destination. The items will be shipped to the New Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA. The delivery schedule shall be 60 days after contract award. Packaging and Packing shall be in accordance with standard commercial pack aging. BASIS FOR AWARD: The Offerors must submit bids on the full quantity identified. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to make no award under this procedure. A written solicitation can be viewed on the Interactive Business Opportunity Page (IBOP). The US Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Prop osals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from C-E LCMC to industry. All parties interested in doing business with C-E LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at http://abop.monmou th.army.mil.
