Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture proposes to Upgrade an existing Loading Dock. This Upgrade must comply with the following specifications: Contractor shall provide all material and labor to install a below grade loading dock at the specified location on the north end of building #11 with connecting roadway from the dock to the new north road. The Finished height of the dock will be 35 inches above the roadway. The work shall be performed at the USDA, ARS, located at Stoneville, MS. ?This procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the Federal Biobased Products Preferred Procurement Program (FB4P)? An IFB with complete specification requirements will be issued on or about July 3, 2006 with all bids being due at 2:00 p.m. August 2, 2006. These dates are tentative and will be specified in the IFB package. All requests must be submitted in writing, faxed to (662) 686-5373 or by electronic mail to: tvjones@ars.usda.gov.
