Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project includes the removal of selected sections of exterior wood shiplap siding and replacement with ?Hardie-Plank? materials to match the existing texture and character of the 1936 historical Ranger Station and adjacent warehouse buildings. Replacement of sections of fascia and soffit. At the work center?s East warehouse: replace 4 window structures, 3 existing sliding wood doors shall be replaced with insulated metal overhead doors with operators. Installation of 3 steel door units and two wood door units, framing and insulation of interior walls in the garage area, pour 992 sq ft concrete slab over an existing, framing interior walls and insulation for one interior warehouse room, painting work, and relocate an existing 200 amp panel box with new electrical wiring. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: between $25,000 and $100,000. PROJECT LOCATION: Tellico Ranger District, Monroe County, Tellico Plains, TN. The project is located at the Tellico Ranger District Complex, 250 Ranger Station Road, Tellico Plains, TN 37385. Drive approximately 5 miles East of Tellico Plains, TN on TN 165 to FS road 210 (Tellico River Road) on the right, Ranger Station Road is appx. 0.5 miles on FS 210 on the left. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-4756-S-06-0027, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quote and will be available for downloading on or about July 5, 2006 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A Pre-Bid visit date will be included in the solicitation. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database(CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information is available at the site including how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are also required to be registered with the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration may be completed by going to http://www.bpn.gov and clicking on ?Online Reps and Certs Application?. You must be active in CCR and have an MPIN from that active record.
