Description
The 1st purpose of this amendment is to change the proposal due date to 26 June 2006. The 2nd purpose of this amendment is to address questions asked during the scheduled site visit on 9 June 06. The following are questions and answers from the 9 June 06 site visit. ASBESTOS REMOVAL SITE VISIT QUESTIONS 1. What will the work hours be? The job sites are available for work 24 hours a day. The job site will also be available on weekends. 2. Air Quality shall meet Robins AFB Air Quality Standards of Less than .001f/pcc. 3. How many entrance ways may be worked on simultaneously? Two entrance way may be worked on at the same time. 4. One entrance way was removed from the project. The total number of entrance ways has changed from 15 to 14. The new total estimated square footage is now 1837 square feet. 5. East side of East Annex, Can the double gate be used by contractors for their equipment Yes, the contractor will be allowed to use that gate to move equipment into and out of the complex, but it will not be allowed to be left open. As well, advanced notice will be required to access the gate. We will work with the contractor as best we can to gain him access in a timely manner. 6. Do the A.C. returns need to be covered before work can begin? Yes they need to be covered before work begins, and uncovered after air quality test has passed. 7. The areas the contractors are working do the air handlers need to be shut down when they do the work?
