Description

This announcement is amended as follows: THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. The work to be performed is the construction of a new rigid frame office building which includes an office area and porches on a soil supported concrete slab located adjacent to the Port Allen Lock in Port Allen, LA, i n accordance with the specifications and accompanying plans. The scope also includes the required electrical, mechanical, elevator, and HVAC work. ESTIMATED DATE IFB will be issued is 6-30-06. ESTIMATED BID OPENING DATE will be 7-31-06. ACTUAL dates wi ll be shown when the solicitation is issued. For security reasons, all technical & engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) system ONLY!!!! NAICS: 237990, FSC: Y219. The magnitude for this solicitation is estimated to be between $1 - $5 million. For security reasons, all technical and engineering data related to this solicitation will be distributed using the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) system. FedTeDS is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders must register with FedTeDS before accessing the system. Registration instructions can be foun d on the FedTeDS website (https://www.fedteds.gov) by clicking on the Register with FedTeDS hyperlink. Contractors registered with the Federal Technical Data Solutions (FedTeDS) may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments from the Intern et after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm.vendorlogin?openform&SolicitationNumber=W912P8-06-B-0057.
