- Description
- The Engineers Research & Development Center, Geotechnical & Structures Laboratory (GSL) proposes to contract with L. Link, Inc. to design and facilitate a critical (peer) review of current and planned research and development programs and practices. Specific products of the review will include recommendations for future thrust areas; recommendations on the types of people and facilities GSL needs; rating the quality of the GSL program and the importance of the products from the research; a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) analysis on each business areas listed below and a portfolio analysis on ecah business area will performed. The four business areas are: Force Projection and Maneuver Support; Protection and Weapons Effects; In frastructure and Operations / Technology Transfer. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determinati on by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Government POC is Brenda J.
