- The U.S. Marine Corps is seeking information and expressions of interest regarding the potential development/lease of Department of Navy property located adjacent to the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA for a hotel, eating establishment and conference center. The National Museum of the Marine Corps will open in November 2006. Government estimates indicate that up to 400,000 could visit the area annually upon full development.
