Description
* THIS SOLICITATION NOTICE WAS PREVIOUSLY RUN ON APRIL 7, 2006 UNDER SOLICITATION NUMBER 6CA0022-0043. * THIS SOLICITATION CHANGES THE REQUIREMENT FROM A SUPERSEDING LEASE TO FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. The United States Government seeks to lease office space consisting of approximately 14,500 rentable sq. ft within the City of Camarillo, CA bounded by: North: Paseo Camarillo, South: Daily Drive, East: Carmen Drive and West: Rosewood Drive . The space should yield between 11,280 to 11,844 BOMA usable sq. ft., contiguous on one floor. Parking requirement is for 25 vehicles. The proposed lease is for 10 years, 5 years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than November 11, 2008. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. The Government does not occupy property located in a Flood Plain. Please submit proof/certification that property is not located in a Flood Plain. Floor plates must have potential for efficient space layout A variety of inexpensive and moderately priced fast food and/or eat-in restaurants must be located within three blocks as well as other amenities such as retail shops, cleaners, banks, etc. must also be available within one-quarter mile. Buildings offered must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as modern office having adequate means of ingress and egress; must fully meet the accessibility requirements of the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standard (UFAS); must be altered or constructed to meet the government?s requirement, and must be fully serviced. The building must also conform to the seismic requirements for new construction or the current edition of the Uniform Building Code if the lateral load resisting system is of concrete, masonry or steel composition. The buildings offered must not contain sprayed-on fireproofing or acoustical treatment containing asbestos. Brokers or agents may represent the prospective landlord, but any properties or proposals submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence that they are authorized to represent the building?s ownership. Expressions of interest should include all of the following: 1. Building name and address 2. Rentable square feet and rate per rentable square foot 3. Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet 4. Common Area Factor (s) for available space by floor if applicable. Forward pertinent information by June 30, 2006.
