Description

The United States Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Fort Eustis, VA has a requirement to procure parts in support of the MH-60 Cyclic Grip. A quantity of ten (10) each of the following nine (9) Esterline parts will be purchased: Part Number STD944-15, 4-Throw Push Button; Part Number 973-0030, Switch Toggle; Part Number 973-0031, Switch Toggle; Part Number 714-0201-2, Operator Switch; Part Number 714-244-1, Trigger Pin; Part Number 714-201-207, Grip Cap; Part Number 714-040-15, Grip Assy; Part Number 714-039-1, Switch Assy; and Part Number 407-4304, Mini-4-Toggle Switch. It is the Government?s intent to award a contract with Mason Electric, 13955 Balboa Blvd., Sylmar, CA 91342 on a sole source basis. The justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is FAR 6.302-1, 10 USC 2304(c)(1). Mason Electric was the vendor that supplied parts for this grip that is uniquely built for Special Operations requirements. Effective competition is not anticipated for this acquisition; however, Note 22 applies. The associated NAICS Code is 336413 and small business standard is 1000 employees.
