Description

Lake Branch Riparian Thinning and Wood Removal - The purpose of this contract is to perform thinning, cut tree removal, decking of thinned second growth material, and slash piling on approximately 35 acres of the Hood River Ranger District, Mt. Hood National Forest, Wasco County, Oregon. The size of most cut trees will average between 6 and 22 inches dbh. The thinned trees will be removed using a track-mounted feller-buncher and skidder, or similar low ground pressure machines intended to keep soil impacts to an absolute minimum. The estimated period of performance is between July 17 and September 30, 2006. The NAICS Code is 115310 and this Solicitation is a total Small Business Set-Aside. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) in order to be considered for award.
