Description
The Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, has a requirement for support services for the FAA's Flight Operations Simulator Laboratory (FOSL). The FAA anticipates award of an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements contract for the base year and up to four (4) one-year options. All interested sources should download the Screening Information Request (SIR)/Request for Offer (RFO) from the Internet. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. All responses to this SIR/request for offer should be submitted to the attention of Rick Conyac, and reference the solicitation number DTFAAC-06-R-02551, at the following address: FAA, Bid & Proposal Officer (AMQ-77) Room 308, Multi-Purpose Building 6500 South MacArthur Boulevard P.O. Box 25082 Oklahoma City, OK 73125-4933 Note: For overnight mail the ZIP code is 73169 The date and time for receipt of responses is 3:00 p.m., Central Time, June 23, 2006, (facsimile responses are not permitted). Any responses received after that date and time will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. If all requested information is not furnished, the vendor's response may be determined unacceptable; therefore, not considered as one of the qualified companies. Oral or written communications with offerors, during the screening process, will be conducted if the FAA deems communication is necessary. NOTE: THIS REQUIREMENT IS 100% SET-ASIDE - SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS (SEDB)/8A This portion of this notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantage business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantage individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
