Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to the John M. Olin Institute for Strategic Studies, Weatherhead Center for International Affairs (WCFIA), Harvard University, Cambridge, MA 02138-3016 to provide education under the National Defense Fellows (NDF) program for two students. Olin Institute's program focus emphasizes the audit, attendance and leading of workshops, seminars and courses at other prestigious universities in the greater Boston area, i.e. Boston Univ, MIT, Tufts Univ, conducting forums relating to Air Force and Defense Policies, working in a unstructured environment, conducting research and writing a scholarly article for the USAF. Other supplies and administrative services include, but not limited to, unlimited telephone, fax, computer usage, copier, secretarial support, office space (including electricity and heat) and miscellaneous office supplies. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified service, they must respond to this notice before 26 Jun 2006 at 2:00 p.m. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Harvard University will be pursued.
